O tempo passa por nós.
Contudo, nos atravessa de formas distintas.
Olhares e ângulos esculpem e o enxergam de formas particulares.

Neste trabalho a artista vale-se de olhares especiais e cede a privilegiados impulsos de capturar o tempo. Através da janela de um avião e curtos períodos de observação a uma mesma paisagem, ela mostra o tempo através de olhares opostos: terra e céu.

As fotografias (150X80X5cm) observam a transformação do tempo ao passar por uma tarde ensolarada. Tiradas em terra colocam o homem como mero observador da passagem do tempo. Já o vídeo trás o tempo visto de cima e mais intimamente. O que remete a grandeza , ao “sem fim” e ao mesmo tempo coloca o homem como parte do próprio tempo.

Tempo esse, que vive-se e sente-se cada um ao seu modo.

Apresentação- trabalho mostrado junto, fotografia ao lado de um DVD player portátil com o vídeo em loop.

The time passes by us.
However, it goes through us in different shapes.
Perspectives and angles sculpt and see it in particular ways.
In this work the artist gets a special look and gives privileged impulses to capture time. Through the window of an airplane and short periods of observation to the same landscape, she shows the time through opposite look: earth and sky.

The photographs (150x80x5cm) observe the transformation of time during a sunny afternoon. Taken on land put the men as a mere observer of the passing of time. The video brings the time viewed from above and more intimately. What leads to greatness, “without end” and at the same time puts the men as part of their time.

Time the one, we live and feel each one in their way.

Presentation – work shown together, photography next to a portable DVD player with a video loop.

Trata-se de um vídeo com imagens gravadas no ambiente de trabalho diário da artista.
São registradas cenas cotidianas, estas mesmas cenas são posteriormente projetadas, neste mesmo ambiente em outro dia durante o trabalho da artista. Novas imagens são capturadas fundindo-as e tornando uma só. Ao mesmo tempo o real e o virtual.

This is a video with images recorded in the daily working environment of the artist.
It is captured day by day scenes, these same scenes are after projected, in this same environment another day during the artist’ work. New images are captured mixing them becoming one. At the same time the real and virtual.

Imagens de uma floresta que foi um dia intacta, imagens de uma floresta que aos poucos vai se perdendo, imagens de uma floresta que está por um fio. Em seus caules ainda corre a seiva, ainda há vida, ainda pulsa…………..

Tudo tão parado e tão mexido. Calor intenso e úmido, silêncio e tensão, sensação de inúmeros olhos me observando, ora amedronta ora cega tamanha beleza.

Imagens obtidas na floresta Amazônica, sua vegetação, o solo, a luz que entra por entre as folhas, as raízes que se enroscam, as árvores que buscam a luz e com suas sombras protegem sementes, abrigam animais, se impõem e se sustentam.

Respiram o ar da incerteza.

Images of forest that one day was intact, images of forest that slowly is being lost, images the forest that is hanging by a tread. In its stem still runs the sap, there is still life, still beating.

Everything so still and so mixed. Intense heat and wet, silence and tension, sensation of plenty of eyes observing me, sometimes scares sometimes blind such beauty.

Images taken in the Amazon forest, its vegetation, the soil, the light that comes between the leaves, the roots that twist, the trees that seeking the light and with its shadows protect the seeds, shelter animals, imposes themselves and maintain.

Breathe the air of the uncertainty.

Que o Tempo Passe Vendo-me Ficar

“As coisas tangíveis tornam-se

O passado se desconstrói no decorrer do presente; mas pode permanecer fiel à memória.
Retornar a um determinado momento através de lembranças, fotos, objetos e imaginação nos remetem a sensações já adormecidas pelo tempo.
Amor, felicidade e tristezas; permanecem no presente de quem costura sua memória como um vestido antigo que se quer guardar.

Esse vídeo retrata a construção/desconstrução desse pensar, da imaginação e das lembranças que rodeiam a vida.

Através de fotos antigas, primeiramente nostálgicas e depois destruídas, as ações e imagens mostram uma tentativa de resgate do passado e ao mesmo tempo a destruição deste passado.

Que o Tempo Passe Vendo-me Ficar (As the time passes by watching me stay)

The past is deconstructed in the course of the present, but can remain faithful to memory.
Return to a specific time through memories, pictures objects and imagination take us back to feeling already asleep by the time.
Love, happiness and sorrow, that remain in the present of a person that sew her image as an old dress that you want to keep.

This video shows the construction/deconstruction of thinking, imagination and memories surrounding life.

Through old photos, nostalgic first and then destroyed, the actions and the images show an attempt to rescue the past and at the same time the destruction of the past.
