Em uma noite, a índia viu, nas águas límpidas de um lago, a figura da lua. A pobre moça, imaginando que a lua havia chegado para buscá-la, se atirou nas águas profundas do lago e nunca mais foi vista. (A Lenda da Vitória Régia)

O rio abriga inúmeras vitórias;

Vitórias importantes;

Vitórias sofridas;

Vitórias que correm contra o tempo.

Todas frutos de uma só guerra.

Guerra que não têm escrupulos,

Que rege a maldade.

Destrói a beleza,

maltrata o ver;

o sentir ;

e o viver.

Com imagens obtidas num Igarapé no Rio Amazo(nas, o vídeo mostra a beleza de uma natureza observada por asas que ali ainda voam.

One night , an Indian saw, in the clear waters of  a lake the figure of the moon. The poor girl, thinking that the moon had come to pick her up, she threw herself in the deep water of the lake and was never seen again. (The legend of Victoria Regia)

The river is home to numerous victories.

Important victories,

Suffered victories,

Victories that run against time,

All fruits of one war.

War who have no scruples,

Governing evil,

It destroys the beauty,

Mistreat the see,

The feeling,

And the living.

With images obtained in a stream of the Amazon River, the video shows the beauty of a nature observed by wings that there still fly.

Cenas obtidas numa comunidade que vive sobre as águas do rio Negro em um Igarapé em Manaus.

Casas construídas sobre enormes troncos de àrvores, flutuam na superfície do rio, que ocila entre as altas e baixas durante o ano.

Ali tudo, como a vida, flutua; a escola, a igreja, o mercado, as casas, as hortas e os pomares.

Todos separados e unidos pela àgua.

These scenes were taken in a community that lives on the Negro river’s water in a streams in Manaus.

Houses were built on gigantic tree trunk, that float on the  surface of the river, that  changes between  flood and low during the year.

There everything, as life, float; the school, the church, the grocery, the houses, the vegetable gardens and orchards.

All separate and united by water.
